We wuz robbed....! Thierry Henry scored a perfectly legitimate goal last night. "Some referees give golas because of things they didn't see, noe it seems they are cancelling goals for thing's that don't exist. " Arsene got it spot on with this quote.

Fair enough we didnt play well enough to win, but results matter and I think that some sort of video technology is needed.

With regards to the Cech incident, I think goalkeepers are very well protected. It was a freak accident and no one is to blame. Mourinho is over reacting as usual and trying to fuel the 'siege mentality' that he has developed at Stamford Bridge. We all wish to see Peter Cech recover fully, that's the story, nothing else matters.

Well it's been a while, and the reason for the delay has been my old friend BT. What a genuinely charmless bunch of people they are. They only took two (yes two) months to connect a flamin' phone line. What were they doing in that time??Laying an express cable to my house? I don't think so..

Now I know what you're thinking, this is the start of another rant from Bolah... well you're wrong I'm just going to say that if your life depended on BT you'd better hope you've got a backup cable connection.

Ok, the purpose of today's entry is twofold. To publish some photos from my recent trip to Colombia, and to invite you to take a look at a friend of mine's website www.theessenceofstyle.co.uk . It isn't finished yet, but it will be a good resource for womens fashion when it's done.

I'm in the house!!! Jeeeeesssuuusss what a palaver. It's all been worth it. woke up this morning to the sound of cows and cocks crowing (behave).

But just as i'm getting myself settled i'm off to Colombia tomorrow. I don't have any 'farming' interests out there (so don't ask), and I can't smuggle back certain products in McDougall flour bags!!, but I will try to bring back some coffee and cigars.

I'll try and update this blog from Colombia, and provide photos of interesting 'things' along the way.

I'm hoping my two words of spanish (bano, and cerveza) will get me by.

Moving House

Moving house has to be one of the most stressful times in a persons life. However for our move we thought we had everything worked out.

What we didn't account for was the incompetence of conveyancing solicitors. Now I'm sure there are some good ones out there but the ones that my buyer used must rank as the laziest and most incompetent bunch of people I've ever met.

They never ring back,constantly blame others to hide the fact they are behind in their work, and are slow beyond belief (they've already missed 2 exchange dates, without so much as a 'sorry')

All other parties are ready but the whole process is delayed because of a firm of solicitors who just don't care. Thanks for nothing crappy law firm in Chelmsford...

On a brighter note, the house is pictured above.

Crunch Day

I nearly didn't write this. Pretty busy at work today dealing with publisher queries and other stuff. But I made it back!.

I'll be watching the Arsenal game tonight, it's a relief that Thierry is back in the starting 11. As for Reyes.... Now I know he's young and not yet settled, blah,blah blah, but surely falling over every time you get the ball is a bit much isn't it?

I mean for pitys sake, if I was paid £20-30k a week I'd at least try to get the odd shot on goal or pass completed before I fell over... And at 22 he's hardly a baby!

Rant over. That's it for today, my phone has just started to ring.

Day 2 of this blog stuff, and surprisingly I'm still here!

I didn't think I'd come back, but like those pesky suduko puzzles, this may prove addictive.

Took my kids trick-or-treating yesterday, it was my 3 year old's first time.

He knocked on his first door, only to be greeted by an old lady bearing money.

His response, 'Daddy, I want sweets not money!'. How long will it take for those two word to be reversed!

My first Blog

Well, after reading about the damn things for ,what seems like ages, I have finally decided to write my first blog. I'm not sure what I'm going to talk about, but I've also just launched my first website www.petro.dsl.pipex.com so I guess i'll talk about it!

It's a family website where our clan(s) can post photo's, share ideas, catch up on family news, etc. And while it is still very new I have high hopes.

Has anyone else just launched/have a family website? I could do with some inspiration?
